Managed Security · Technical, Human, Financial Risk

We remove cybersecurity as a business risk.

Cyber risk reaches your business three ways: through your technology, your people, and your finances. We cover all three.

Managed security built for small businesses — fully managed, no internal IT expertise required, and backed by real financial protection if something still goes wrong.

The Three Risk Areas

Technical, human, and financial — all three covered.

Both plans protect every area in full. Only the size of the warranty under Financial risk differs.

Technical risk

Devices, cloud, and your public footprint.

Device protection that isolates threats, patch management and asset tracking, cloud office protection for Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, scanning of your public footprint, and ransomware-proof workstation backups.

Human risk

The people using your technology.

Identity threat detection on every account, email protection, security training with phishing simulations, and dark web monitoring for exposed credentials. A password manager is available as an add-on.

Financial risk

What's left after an incident.

Insurance-readiness and compliance evidence (PIPA, PIPEDA) you can show an insurer or a client, on both plans. Warranted adds a $500,000 Cork Cyber financial warranty.

The Threat Model

Six ways a cyberattack actually costs you.

Most business owners don't lose sleep over “cybersecurity”, they lose sleep over money disappearing, jobs stopping, and not knowing what's actually going on. These are the consequences the three risk areas above exist to prevent.

Money Walking Out the Door

A fake invoice, a hijacked email, a ransom demand. This is the fastest way a break-in turns into a real loss, and it's the one we work hardest to catch before it happens.

Everything Grinds to a Halt

Locked files, frozen systems, a team standing around with nothing to do. Downtime doesn't just cost money, it costs the day.

Your Insurance Doesn't Pay Out

More policies now check if you had basic protection in place. No proof, and a claim can get denied right when you need it most.

Clients Lose Trust in You

A breach gets around fast, and in Alberta there are rules about who you have to tell and when. We handle that so you're not figuring it out mid-crisis.

You're On the Hook Legally

Alberta and Canada both have privacy rules that apply even to small operations. We keep you on the right side of them without you needing to know the fine print.

You Have No Idea What's Actually Happening

No reports, no proof, just hoping everything's fine. We give you a clear picture every month — plain numbers, no guessing.

Which Plan Fits You?

Same security. You choose the financial backing.

Core and Warranted run the identical security stack. The only difference is whether a Cork Cyber financial warranty sits behind it — and the term: Core is month-to-month, Warranted is a 12-month agreement.

Core

Full Security Stack

From $600/mo (5 full users)
$120 /full user/mo

Month-to-month · No financial warranty

You already carry a cyber policy you trust.

You need the stack that keeps you insurable. Core does not include a Cork Cyber financial warranty.

  • Monthly report and quarterly review call
  • Insurance-readiness and compliance evidence

Warranted

Protect500 — $500K Warranty

From $750/mo (5 full users)
$150 /full user/mo

12-month agreement

No cyber policy, low limits, or a business that can't absorb a bad week.

Adds the Cork Cyber financial warranty — ransom, data recovery, business interruption, wire fraud and more.

  • $150K Data Recovery
  • $150K Business Interruption
  • $50K Ransomware Payment
  • $10K Instant Funds
  • $75K ACH/Wire Transfer Loss
  • $100K Incident Response

Monthly minimum applies to full and mobile user fees. Add-ons are billed in addition.

Check your policy for three things: the ransomware sublimit, the social engineering / wire fraud sublimit, and the deductible. If any is low, Warranted fills that gap.

Financial Backing

The security stays the same. The financial backing is your choice.

The Warranted plan includes a Cork Cyber financial warranty. It is attached to the managed security service — not a cyber insurance policy — and it is designed to sit alongside your own business insurance, not replace it. Core does not include a warranty. Limits, eligibility, and qualifying conditions are set by the warranty program.

This is not cyber insurance. It is a financial warranty attached to the managed security service. Cork Cyber warranty terms apply.
